Golden Hills Families,
On March 10th many of our students will be returning to five days of in person instruction. In order to come back five days a week some of our class sizes have had to be adjusted. We hired four new teachers for our students! All families whose student is changing teachers have been contacted by an administrator by phone (spoke to, left a message or we do not have a correct phone number on file). All students in the after school program will have a new in person teacher, Mr. Wong in fourth grade and Mrs. Russell in fifth grade. The ASP will end at 4:30 daily. Ms. Barrera will be an in person fourth grade teacher and Ms. Cox will be the new fifth grade distance teacher. The new teachers will be reaching out soon with more information.
On Monday and Tuesday, March 8th and 9th all students will do distance learning. They will login into their assigned Zoom time and complete work assigned by their teacher.
On Wednesday, March 10th drop off will begin at 7:45, please do not drop off students before that time, class starts at 8:15. A grab and go breakfast will be available for all students.
All safety guidelines such as social distancing, stable groups and wearing masks will still be in place. Students will stay with their homeroom for class time, recess and lunch.
Dismissal will continue to be staggered and will remain the same. Your students number will remain the same, please tell the Golden HIlls staff member your students name or the number at pick up. Your student will be dismissed when you arrive. School is out at 1:00. Please arrive early or right at 1:00, our parking lot will be busy, please be patient. Helen Wilcox will dismiss at 1:15 so the parking lot will get really crowded then.
All Golden HIlls staff appreciates your support and patience while we make these exciting changes. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
